New  Stuff -- May 30, 2009

Remember the old IBM plant site on Cottle Road? Remember when they removed all the buildings nearest Cottle Road? Well, the new roads in the old plant site are now open. There are no buildings anywhere. It is all open land, waiting to be developed. What is finished are the roads, traffic signals, street lights, sidewalks, landscaping next to the roads and sidewalks, and public areas. These public areas are scattered. There are several areas of beautiful green grass, picnic tables, bocce ball courts, a few tennis courts, a soccer field, a baseball field, and some green areas lower than the rest of the flat land. The next time you're in the area, drive through and see all this stuff. Also, Great Oaks Blvd. now comes all the way to Cottle Road.
