Welcome to the San Jose IBM Retirement Club web site!

The objective of this club is to encourage and promote community service, educational, cultural, social, recreational, and charitable activities in the interest of its members and the community.

Members participate in a bowling league,  2 golf groups, hiking, day trips, traveling trips, an annual picnic, an annual dinner/dance, community service activities (such as the Adopt-A-Highway program,) and whatever else gets thought up by the club's many creative members.

If you are not a club member, and you or your spouse is an IBM retiree,  and you would like to join, please click on Membership Application in the left column.

Most members receive a monthly newsletter delivered via the US Postal Service. Modern members no longer receive the newsletter via the US Postal Service. They get it by viewing it on this web site.  To view, download, or print the current newsletter, click on IBM  Retirement Club Newsletters in the left navigation panel. They are all in PDF format, so you will need the Adobe Reader program to view them. You probably have it on your computer, but you may not.

The IBM Corporation has established a web site for IBM Retirees. To reach this site, just click on the appropriate link in the yellow list to the left.

If you are an active volunteer for a non-profit organization, check the link to the left called "IBM On Demand Community." If you sign up and register, and then record the hours you volunteer, you may be able receive IBM money or equipment for the organizations you volunteer for.
