PG&E Bright Minds Scholarship - Deadline February 17
Dear Pete Conaty,
I wanted to share with you information that I hope you can pass along to veteran’s groups.
Attached is a flyer about the PG&E Bright Minds Scholarship launched this year. Deadline is February 17. PG&E is looking to award $1 million in scholarships this spring through the new PG&E Bright Minds™ Scholarship program, to high-achieving, low-income students who have given back to their local communities or who have overcome great personal challenges. To be eligible the individual must reside in PG&E’s service territory. An emphasis will be placed on first-generation college students. This scholarship program goes beyond high school seniors. Students may be just beginning higher education or returning to school. Applicants must be planning to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school for the entire 2012-2013 academic year.
Winners will receive full-ride college scholarships of up to $30,000 per year and finalists will receive $2,500. Please help spread the word about our new scholarship program. Visit http://www.pge.com/brightminds/ to learn more and apply.
