Tadlo & Tha Kaek

After the long trip back from Attapeau, we found ourselves stranded in the middle of nowhere and all the buses had left. So we hitched a ride to Tadlo. Tadlo is (so-far) our favorite stop in Laos. We had a bungalow overlooking the falls and the peaceful village setting was exactly what we wanted. After a few days we tried to get to the "Rocket Festival" but missed it and then headed up to Tha Kaek to explore some limestone caves.
