Southern Laos

We crossed the border in the South of Lao and found some time to relax in Si Phon Don (4000 Islands). After a week or so of relaxing in the hammock we headed to Champansak to visit some more Angkor period Ruins, and then out to the remote province of Attapeau and the Ho Chi Mon Trail. It was a good introduction to Laos and we were excited to see mountains and more natural beauty then in flat and dry Cambodia.
