Our comments from around Ladakh:
| The landscape of Ladakh is mountain desert. The deep earth tones surround you in all directions, barren yet beautiful. We were able to squeeze in some exploring around Ladakh even though we were working 12 hour days volunteering with Health Inc. The highlight was our visit to the remote villiage of Domkhar to help run a solar power lantern workshop. The village was absolutely beautiful and so were the people. The welcomed us with more butter tea then we could stand to drink. |
